These were pencil sketches from life for Viz Dev. Our goal was to make an element 

in the composition a focal point and use the tools we have been learning to emphasize 

this element. For most of my sketches I used contrast! In one of the sketches I actually went out at night which was interesting because most of the porch lights and things become automatic areas of interest because they're usually the only thing you can see, so I had fun with that.
